Nineteen of the Russian's 21 victories have been earned on hardcourt
A comeback Medvedev won his first championship for nearly 30 months with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the competition title decider.
The athlete, a former top-ranked player, has experienced a torrid season, winning just one match at the major tournaments and undergoing a meltdown at the New York tournament.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and issues with his serving in specific - caused him falling of the elite rankings and ultimately separating with long-term mentor Gilles Cervara.
Now working with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently progressed in the recent weeks - peaking in a closely contested 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
This represents Medvedev's maiden championship following the Italian tournament and first on a hard court after March of the previous year.
Victory also signifies the Russian has won 21 victories at twenty-one various tournaments.
"For the first time I'm at a event with my two daughters simultaneously, so to get a title is especially meaningful," stated tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in honour of my second daughter my daughter, because the first title I won when my child her name was delivered was for her."
The athlete, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his last six title deciders, featuring in Halle in the past months.
His defensive strategy and regular emotional displays on court had caused observers to question if his skill to compete at the elite level was concluded.
However the athlete has altered his approach in the last few weeks, attempting to approach the net and compete assertively, reinforced by an improved service.
Medvedev came back from a deficit in the initial set against the challenging Frenchman, securing 4 of the last five exchanges to take the lead.
Both players traded service breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, striving for his first tour title, took control to create a final set.
The opponent defended four early opportunities in a close deciding set before the champion won the break to 15 to secure the win.
Appropriately, Medvedev earned the win with a shot at the net area, with Moutet unable to manage a shot after a lengthy match.
